We Walk As One: Another Milestone in KGBC History

Joey Pelagio

As an Avon associate, with customer service as my main function, my biggest contribution was ensuring that all representatives visiting the branch understand the advocacy and why Avon continues to support this cause. It also meant explaining the T-shirt purchases and lotion for the month of October and why we’ve earmarked a certain portion to PGH.

For the month of October, these KGBC items were heavily merchandised in the supermarket to encourage more sales.
I always stress on the point that the purchase they made supports countless women in their fight against the disease.

Christopher Jann Tan

As an AVON associate, perhaps the biggest contribution that I had to support Kiss Goodbye to Breast Cancer was the initiative to participate and support the event. I also made it a point to invite and encourage all the representatives of the branch, family and friends, to walk with us to show their support- because ultimately our goal is to have a cancer-free world.

Susana de Guzman

As an Avon associate, I make it a point to impart my knowledge on basic procedures for early detection. I have always believed in the saying, "An ounce of prevention is better than cure".

My personal experience of detecting a lump on my left breast was from my routine self-examination. With God’s grace, it was proven benign and was eventually removed.

And as a Store Team Leader who have daily encounters with our representatives, I educate them on our campaign and give them valid information on breast cancer.
